Our story
It all began in 1926 as a small peach farm in Alpine. Over the years, it’s grown into a beloved community spot for Alpine locals and a popular destination for people throughout the state. With the hot summers in Utah, we started selling peach ice cream sundaes in a little shack and the rest is history. In recent years, the farm was at risk of being developed into housing, but Cherry Hills Farms partnered with the Gu family to preserve the historical farm and continue its traditions.
Family run business
Today, Burgess Orchards is still a family owned and operated business. We strive to create a space for the community to shop for farm fresh produce and stay connected.
